Hello! My name is Casey Rodgers, and I am a PhD candidate in Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) and a Masters in Computer Science (CS) student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). My research involves designing & developing computer graphics, computer vision, and machine learning solutions to solve real-world problems in structural health monitoring, post-disaster building assessments (particularly post-earthquakes), and engineering education.
Growing up in Indiana, I graduated from Purdue University with a BS in CEE and a minor in CS. I then attended UIUC for a MS in CEE, where I fell in love with interdisciplinary research and decided to pursue a PhD in CEE and a second Masters in CS.
Outside of school, I really enjoy drawing, animation, reading, playing video games, and game development.
